The Planetrise Cultural and Environmental Association was founded in 2003 by a couple of enthusiastic young people and is based in Kisvárda.

Traditional dressing customs are especially important in tribal cultures, where the meaning of clothing plays a deeper role in defining an individual's position and status within the community.
Timon and Pumbaa visited the Gyöngyszem Reformed Kindergarten in Kisvárda today, in celebration of World Environment Day. The children are all familiar with The Lion King movie, and they all know who Timon and Pumbaa are.
The two-week mission in Addis Ababa has passed quickly. During the mission, six doctors (ophthalmologists, ENT specialists, and an anesthesiologist) worked at the Yaketit 12 Hospital. The local community received the Hungarian assistance with great enthusiasm.
