Strengthening community cohesion and ensuring basic human needs are fundamental conditions for social stability. In our work, we support self-organizing initiatives of local communities and offer solutions to food and nutrition security issues.
Health preservation and healing activities are the cornerstones of the well-being of our communities. Our association works through medical missions, health programs, and community campaigns to enable as many of our fellow human beings as possible to develop a healthy lifestyle.
The Planetrise Cultural and Environmental Association was founded in 2003 by a couple of enthusiastic young people and is based in Kisvárda.

Last week, we held a report on our experiences from our March trip to Uganda. The event titled "Changemakers in Africa - Travel Report on Rwanda and Uganda" was organized jointly by AfriKata, the Jane Goodall Institute, and the Close to Africa Foundation.
