On Sunday, May 13, we opened our "Get to Know the World!" photo exhibition in the National Memorial Park in Nagygéc. The event was attended by Representative Sándor Kovács, and the opening ceremony included a service led by Kont Szalay, the archpriest, at the Church of Preservation.

Our association took part in the May Day festival in Kisvárda. This year, in the spirit of recycling, we displayed furniture made from used car tyres, handcrafted by members of our organisation.

The next stop of our "Get to Know the World!" photo exhibition is Záhony. At the opening ceremony, László Helmeczi, Mayor of Záhony, delivered a welcome speech, and the exhibition was officially opened by our Association's President, Dr. Gergő Péter Juhász.
For the fourth time, we opened our "Get to Know the World!" photo exhibition – this time in the town of Mátészalka. As mentioned in our previous articles, a unique aspect of this exhibition is that the photos, which depict everyday life in Malawi, were taken by orphaned African children.
This weekend marked the next stop of our "Get to Know the World!" travelling exhibition. We had the opportunity to present our photo exhibition in Budapest at the Africa Expo, organised by the Kultúrafrika Foundation, as part of the national Travel Exhibition.
Toroskáposzta was prepared "Planetrise style" at the "Together Again with You" Szatmár Traditional Pig Slaughter Festival in Géberjén. On the evening of Friday, 23 February, several members of our Association took part in a dinner in Géberjén, marking the opening of a culinary event.
As previously mentioned, our Africa exhibition has gone on tour, and this week we opened the event in Fehérgyarmat.
Our association's guest, Miss Malawi, Cecilia Khofi, the beauty queen of Malawi in Africa, gave several presentations this week as part of our "Discover the World!" project in some primary and secondary schools in our county (Kisvárda, Győrtelek, Fehérgyarmat, Mátészalka, Géberjén), which you can read more about in our previous article.
Several members of our Association have spent varying lengths of time in different African countries – some doing volunteer work, others conducting research, and some coordinating missions or various projects.
The Planetrise Association visited Visk in Transcarpathia yesterday, where we had the opportunity to see the pavilions donated by our members in action, which were donated back in November. The mayor of the town, Jaroszláv Hajovics, Ida Ötvös, president of the Green Rural Tourism Association, and many others honoured us with their presence.
Christmas Cavalcade with the Rotary Club
This year, we also participated in the Christmas Cavalcade in Kisvárda. On the opening day, our association joined the event alongside the Kisvárda Rotary Club.
Planetrise Association: Education in Uganda
Dr. Péter Gergő Juhász, the President of our Association, participated as a trainer in an agricultural advisory training program in Uganda. The program was organized by the Hungarian Ministry of Agriculture, Szent István University, and the Hungarian Africa Society. Péter had the following to say about the training:

The Planetrise Tree Planting Program continues in Malawi. As mentioned in our previous articles, one of our members, Csaba Szeremley, is currently in the African country. During his trip, he recently returned as the coordinator of the XVII Medical Mission of the Hungarian Africa Society.
We met the "Green Circle"
